World Tennis Day – London
The World Tennis Day London Showdown took place on Monday, March 3, 2014, at Earls Court Two. The marquee exhibition match featured tennis legends Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras, with Agassi defeating Sampras 6-3, 7-6. The event also featured a match between Pat Cash and Ivan Lendl.
King Salman Park

Alec Lochore is proud to be contributing to the development of King Salman Park, one of Riyadh’s four flagship megaprojects launched by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in March 2019.
Working alongside Bogle Architects, Alec is providing specialist expertise in the planning and design of the project’s equestrian facilities, helping to shape world-class environments that reflect international best practice while supporting the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.
Situated on the site of the city’s former airport, King Salman Park is central to Vision 2030’s goal of enhancing quality of life, creating a vibrant society, and positioning Riyadh among the world’s most liveable cities.
AMAALA
Saudi Arabia
Alec Lochore is honoured to be contributing to AMAALA, a transformational luxury tourism and lifestyle destination on the north-west coast of Saudi Arabia. As part of the multidisciplinary design team, Alec is providing specialist expertise in the planning and development of equestrian facilities.
As one of the world’s most ambitious developments, AMAALA reflects the scale and vision of Saudi Vision 2030. Alec’s involvement supports the creation of an exceptional equestrian destination that will serve elite sport, community participation and future generations.
2015 FEI European Eventing Championship
Blair Castle, Scotland
Alec Lochore served as Event Director of the 2015 FEI European Eventing Championship, held at Blair Castle in Scotland, where he led the planning and delivery of one of Europe’s premier equestrian championships.
Working closely with the FEI, national federations, officials, sponsors and organising teams, he ensured the successful delivery of world-class competition while maintaining an exceptional focus on horse welfare, athlete experience and spectator engagement.
London 2012 Olympic Games
Greenwich Park, London
As Eventing Manager for the London 2012 Olympic Games, Alec Lochore played a pivotal role in the planning and delivery of one of the most iconic equestrian competitions in Olympic history. Working alongside the London Organising Committee (LOCOG), he oversaw the operational planning and delivery of the eventing competition at Greenwich Park.
His leadership ensured that a technically demanding championship could be staged in the unique setting of Greenwich Park, balancing elite sporting standards, complex venue logistics, athlete welfare, and an exceptional spectator experience.
